Anna Reinhartz is a photographer based in Salzburg. With a focus on portraits, sport photography – especially using analog where possible – her photographs are an extension of herself and her way of understanding the world. Conveying the underlying story, emotion and sincerity of a person is central to her work; capturing exactly how and who people are when they are their most authentic selves. Sport and personal film photography exist to evoke emotion in viewers and spark interest in storytelling as well as aesthetic. Her art uses the image to carry her ideas and show the world in its truest form, sparking emotional responses such as pleasure, power, tenderness, melancholy and everything else in between.
